I am one of the kaiako based here at our beautiful Manurewa Marae from Te Wānanga o Aotearoa for the programme Tikanga Marae Level 4. Love being engaged with the community on a constant basis.
We were raised always helping others no matter who they are and this is what we do today and I wouldn't have it any other way as this is who were we raised to be.
You know your from Manurewa when you grew up here, went to school here, have now settled with your family here, and now work here!
Love this community, we are wealthy in talent and strong. Out in the rest of the world we are known as REWA HARD!

Born and raised in Manurewa, My passion for Kapa Haka, kaupapa Maori, Tertiary Education and Community Development brought me to Manurewa Marae, with a commitment and willingness to create as many opportunities for whanau of Manurewa, South Auckland.
Empowering our people to become positive role models and using education within a kaupapa Maori context to strengthen our community is very important and creating pathways for the whole whanau to be engaged here at Manurewa Marae is something that I am totally committed to do.
